The Collection of Posters and Advertising Material conserves objects connected with various forms of visual communication originating from the second half of the 20th century and the beginning of 21st century, characterised by the originality and quality of their mostly graphic design. The bulk of the collection consists of posters designed for various purposes (exhibition, travel, advertising, political campaign) made in the printing techniques of screen printing, offset printing and digital printing.

The remarkable significance of this collection is that its holdings include campaign posters and promotional materials belonging to all political parties, organizations and associations active in Istria since 1990, all collected by the curator during fieldwork in the course of the elections in all of the constituencies.
